This listing is for a vintage 1940’s new look two-piece dress and jacket set. It features a jacket with three button closure and a peplum detail with hand painted beading. The dress has a scalloped scoop neckline with corded floral swirl detail and hand- painted beading. The belt, dress, and jacket are all of the same silk faille fabric. It is a champagne/beige tone and is sturdy yet still flexible for everyday movement. The ensemble has not been cleaned as the beads are hand painted and cleaning would likely remove the paint. There are areas of light soiling throughout the dress, jacket, and belt from age and the above statement from not being cleaned. Buyer may have it cleaned out their own discretion. The suit set is incredible if you are willing to take the risk of cleaning or willing to accept its minor imperfections. The set is in great wearable condition.
