This is a lovely vintage 1930's silk charmeuse wedding dress in a deep ivory/champagne tone. The feel of this fabric is buttery smooth. The gown is a bias cut design with a geometric seam under the bust for shape. The bodice features a cowl neckline and sculptural 3D floral flowers along the left shoulder. The long sleeves include subtle volume at the bicep and then taper at the forearm and come to a point over the hand. The sleeves close at the wrist with snaps. The waist is cinched with a belt that is attached to the dress and closes via a silver buckle that is dotted with rhinestones. The back of this gown closes via a row of fabric covered buttons. This piece is in wonderful condition with only a few signs of wear to note including a small mark of red lipstick inside the cowl neckline (not visible from outside), some small distress marks to the silk that give the material a slightly different texture/sheen down the front (visible in photos), and two marks of discoloration on the front of the skirt near the bottom. -The dress fit the model well. There is room in the dress to accommodate a smaller size or a slightly larger size given the nature of bias cut dresses. Please compare your measurements to that of the garment but also of the model for reference and how to determine desired fit. -The dress is meant to have a draped fit, though if worn to its fullest measurements the length would shorten as that is how bias cut gowns function. If you are smaller than the dress measurements, expect extra length. If you match the dress measurements, expect a shorter length.
